The Ortigas Foundation is proud to announce that it was invited to present an exhibit on the history of the Philippines via its Spanish-era churches entitled “The Lasting Links with Spain”, to be held at the Casa de America in Madrid, Spain. The exhibit features the history of Catholicism in the Philippines which finds its roots in the spice trade via the famous Manila Galleon, the establishment of the first communities and thatched churches, to the development and construction of the stone churches which have lasted through the centuries.
The Ortigas Foundation Library's in-house exhibit for the whole month of August commemorates the people who shaped Philippine History.
In celebration of the 83rd Anniversary of Ortigas and Company Limited Partnership, Ortigas Foundation, Inc. (OFI) will be having its exhibit, along with the groups of Ortigas Holdings, Inc., -- Greenhills Shopping Centre, Circulo Verde and Capitol Commons -- from July 7-11, 2014 (Monday-Sunday) at the Ground Floor of Virra Mall.
